* Some of the more interesting theories surrounding what is in Jules and Vincents glowing
briefcase include, the idea it could be Elvis's gold suit from True Romance. Another contender is the idea it is Marcellus Wallace's soul. It is an ancient belief that when the Devil takes a person's soul, it is removed through the back of the head. When we see the back of Marcellus' head he has a Band-Aid covering the precise spot indicated by tradition for soul removal.
* Playing Gangstas: In real life the Chevelle Malibu convertible used in the film belongs to Quentin Tarantino and was stolen during the production of the film.
* Travolta has said that some of the dance moves between himself and Uma Thurman in the Jack Rabbit Slim's scene were based on Adam West's Batusi from Batman.
* The T-shirt that Jimmy gives to Vincent after they get hosed down bears the logo for the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs. The Banana slug really is the UCSC official mascot.
