John Maybury the films director has revealed that the love scene between Adrien Brody and Keira Knightley was much longer, but was cut because test audiences did not like the scene, which included more explicit nudity. Who knows what depraved acts involving a naked Kiera Knightley have been lost to the celluloid scrapheap we can only hope a directors cut comes out at some point.
